“Comrades 2026 is more than just a race—it’s a journey of endurance, determination, and heart. This year, we’re inviting runners to make their race truly meaningful by running in support of children facing cancer.
At Rainbows and Smiles, we are a family—a community of runners united by a mission to bring hope and support to children in treatment. We may not be an official charity partner (so there’s no seeding benefit), but the real reward is knowing that every step is taken for a cause that matters. When the race gets tough, drawing strength from these brave children makes all the difference.
We’re calling on runners to join our Bee Team—to raise awareness, show solidarity, and help make a difference. And if they reach their fundraising target, they’ll receive a Rainbows and Smiles run vest, socks, branded arm warmers, and a certificate of appreciation as a token of our gratitude.
