I enjoy cycling and I find it exciting and liberating. It has brought a new purpose to me, and I see it as a powerful way to bring communities together and cherish each other’s strength and cause. I’m excited to ride the 947 Joburg Ride not just for the thrill but to support the amazing work of Rainbow and Smile in their initiatives and programs for children diagnosed and living with cancer.
An estimated 400 000 children globally develop cancer yearly. I hope with every kilometer I cycle, and pedal will bring hope to these brave little ones and that they can overcome this challenge and have a bright future. Through this event, I wish to raise awareness and funds to help those in need and to directly benefit organizations and families that support these children.
I believe that every child deserves the chance to dream, laugh, and thrive, regardless of their circumstances. With your support, we can cycle towards a brighter future for these children, one ride at a time.
